About Us
San Gabriel Valley ROP provides hands-on Career Technical Education programs that help students explore careers, build practical skills, and prepare for life after high school.
We proudly serve students across Azusa, Baldwin Park, Charter Oak, Glendora, San Gabriel, and Walnut Valley Unified School Districts.
What We Offer Students
Career Technical Education (CTE) provides students of all ages with the academic and technical skills, knowledge and training necessary to succeed in future careers and to become lifelong learners.
Work-based learning is an educational strategy that provides students with real-life work experiences where they can apply academic and technical skills and develop their employability.
A career and technical student organization (CTSO) is an extracurricular group for students in CTE pathways to further their knowledge and skills by participating in activities and competitions.

Recognizing Excellence in Career Technical Education
Students, educators, business partners, and community members gathered on April 30 for SGVROP’s annual Education Foundation Scholarship Awards Breakfast, celebrating excellence in career technical education and the partnerships that help students succeed.
During the event, SGVROP awarded scholarships to six outstanding students representing each of its partner school districts and recognized Mt. SAC’s High School Articulation Department as the 2026 Business Partner of the Year for its ongoing support of student success and workforce readiness.
